The Mounds View Mustangs lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the host Irondale Knights to 3 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Stillwater for a Section 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Mounds View will clash with a Ponies squad coming off a 17-5 non-league win over Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN). The Ponies record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Irondale falls to 0-3 on the year. The Knights travel to White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN) to clash with the Bears in a Section 4 challenge on Monday, April 21. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. White Bear Lake lost 11-7 in their recent non-league challenge against East Ridge (Woodbury, MN)
