The New Albany Eagles lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Thomas Worthington CARDINALS to 13 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Medina for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 19. New Albany will clash with a Battling Bees squad coming off a 20-6 non-league win over Bay (Bay Village, OH). The Battling Bees record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Thomas Worthington falls to 3-3 on the year. The Cardinals host Marysville (Marysville, OH) to clash with the Monarchs in a Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Monarchs go into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Marysville lost 13-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairmont (Kettering, OH)
