The Piedmont Highlanders lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the visiting Rancho Cotate Cougars to 9 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Highlanders now hold a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Miramonte for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 23. Piedmont will clash with a Matadors squad coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Rancho Cotate falls to 6-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to San Marin (Novato, CA) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19.
