Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) and the visiting Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL), saw Lockport's soccer squad hold off Lemont by a score of 2-1.

The Porters (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Redhawks enter the non-league battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Naperville Central tipped DeKalb (DeKalb, IL), 4-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Lemont HS confront the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) in a South Suburban battle, on Saturday, April 19. Lemont will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Braves enter the battle with a 4-7 record after their 3-2 league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL).
