In Thursday's league game, the host Waverly Vikings baseball team scored a nice 11-2 victory over the Gretna East Griffins.
The Vikings (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Mount Michael Benedictine (Elkhorn, NE). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Mount Michael Benedictine defeated Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE), 3-2, in a non-league game.
