In Thursday's non-league bout, the Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO) baseball squad edged the visiting Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO), by a tally of 9-8.
Next up, the Coyotes encounter the Poudre Impalas (Fort Collins, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 18. Monarch will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Impalas enter the bout with a 3-6 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO).
The Lightning (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Fairview (Boulder, CO). The Knights enter the bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Fairview edged Niwot (Niwot, CO), 12-7, in a non-league bout.
