Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE) and the host Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE), saw Lincoln Southwest's soccer squad hold off Kearney by a count of 2-1.
The Silver Hawks (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE). The Knights enter the battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Lincoln Southeast was edged by Millard North (Omaha, NE), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bearcats battle the Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 19. Kearney will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
