The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) and the host Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI), observed Prout's softball team notch a victory over Portsmouth by a final score of 13-0.

The Crusaders (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Toll Gate Titans (Warwick, RI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 22. Portsmouth will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Pilgrim (Warwick, RI).
