In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Orange Lions lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 triumph over the GlenOak Golden Eagles.
With the victory, Orange advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH) to encounter the Crusaders in a Region 6 battle on Saturday, April 19. The Crusaders come into the battle with a record of 8-1. Canton Central Catholic won 18-9 in their recent league battle against Canfield (Canfield, OH)
The Golden Eagles now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stow-Munroe Falls for a Region 2 battle on Saturday, April 19. GlenOak will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Revere (Richfield, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.
