Fans at Thursday's league test between the Howell Rebels (Farmingdale, NJ) and the host Middletown North Lions (Middletown, NJ), witnessed Howell's lacrosse squad hold off Middletown North by a count of 7-6.

The Rebels (7-1) will now prepare for their test against East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ). The Bears enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record.

Next, the Lions battle the Old Bridge Knights (Old Bridge, NJ) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 19. Middletown North will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Knights enter the test with a 0-7 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ).
