The York Dukes tipped the host Lyons Lions lacrosse squad by a score of 10-9 in Thursday's league contest.
The Dukes (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Libertyville held off Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL), 15-9, in a league contest.
Next, the Lions meet the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 23. Lyons will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The RedHawks go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 17-9 non-league loss to Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL).
