The McAlester Buffaloes edged the visiting Coweta Tigers soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Thursday's league game.
Next, the Buffaloes face the Nathan Hale Rangers (Tulsa, OK) in a 5A District 4 game, on Tuesday, April 22. McAlester will attempt to advance on its 12-4 season record. The Rangers enter the game with a 1-8 record after their 4-1 league loss to Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK).
The Tigers (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Will Rogers College (Tulsa, OK). The Ropers enter the 5A District 4 game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Will Rogers College held off Shawnee (Shawnee, OK), 5-3, in a league game.
