Iowa High School Soccer - Jefferson knocks off Missouri Valley

The Jefferson Yellowjackets soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Missouri Valley Big Reds to 1 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Yellowjackets now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Le Mars for a Missouri River bout on Tuesday, April 22. Jefferson will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Missouri Valley moves to 3-6 on the year. The Big reds host Riverside (Oakland, IA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Western Iowa test on Tuesday, April 22. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-4. Riverside lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against East Sac County (Lake View, IA)
