The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) and the host Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL), observed Barrington's softball team notch a victory over Rolling Meadows by a final score of 13-1.
The Fillies/Broncos (12-1) will now prepare for their bout against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 10-2 record.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) in a Mid-Suburban East bout, on Monday, April 21. Rolling Meadows will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Maine South (Park Ridge, IL).
