In Thursday's non-league test, the Cabot Panthers (Cabot, AR) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bauxite Miners (Bauxite, AR), by a tally of 14-8.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR) in a 6A Central test, on Tuesday, April 22. Cabot will attempt to advance on its 14-3 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 15-0 record after their 10-0 league win over North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR).

The Miners (15-9) will now prepare for their test against Mayflower (Mayflower, AR). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Mayflower held off Perryville (Perryville, AR), 9-3, in a league test.
