The Bedford Bisons triumphed over the host Juniata Valley Hornets softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bisons play the Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands 1 challenge, on Monday, April 21. Bedford will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 4-0 league loss to Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA).
The Hornets (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA). The Bearcats enter the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Huntingdon overcame Central (Martinsburg, PA), 4-0, in a league challenge.
