In Thursday's non-league match, the host Naperville Central Redhawks softball team scored a tight 4-0 win over the Benet Academy Redwings.
The Redhawks (6-6) will now prepare for their match against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Mustangs come into the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Downers Grove South was routed by St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL), 10-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Redwings battle the Mother McAuley Mighty Macs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 21. Benet Academy will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Mighty Macs come into the match with a 5-8 record after their 10-0 league win over Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL).
