In Thursday's non-league test, the Highland Park Owls (Highland Park, NJ) softball squad got by the host Dunellen Destroyers (Dunellen, NJ), by a tally of 13-12.

Next, the Owls clash with the South River Rams (South River, NJ) in a GMC - Gold test, on Monday, April 21. Highland Park will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record.
