The Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies Mustangs softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Northwestern Colts to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pershing for a non-league battle on Monday, April 28.

With the loss, Northwestern moves to 0-1 on the season. The Colts travel to Cody (Detroit, MI) to confront the Comets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Comets come into the battle with a record of 2-3. Cody lost 11-10 in their recent non-league battle against East English Village Prep (Detroit, MI)
