The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT) and the visiting Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT), observed Loomis Chaffee School's softball team notch a victory over Westminster School by a final score of 14-4.

The Pelicans (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Ethel Walker (Simsbury, CT). The go into the Founders bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Ethel Walker was routed by Cheshire Academy (Cheshire, CT), 9-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Martlets battle the Kingswood Oxford Wyverns (West Hartford, CT) in a Founders bout, on Tuesday, April 22. Westminster School will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Wyverns go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Kimball Union Academy (Meriden, NH).
