Michigan High School Softball - Saline sneaks past Walled Lake Northern

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Saline Hornets softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Walled Lake Northern Knights.
The Hornets (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Dexter (Dexter, MI). The Dreadnaughts come into the Southeastern - Red match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Dexter was nipped by Trenton (Trenton, MI), 3-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Knights battle the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) in a Lakes Valley match, on Monday, April 21. Walled Lake Northern will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 4-5 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Allen Park (Allen Park, MI).
