The Vandals (4-9) will now prepare for their match against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL). The Hiltoppers come into the South Central match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Hillsboro was routed by Effingham (Effingham, IL), 10-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Rams confront the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals (Warrensburg, IL) in a Central Illinois match, on Friday, April 18. Shelbyville will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 9-7 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL).
