The University Hawks softball team scored 23 runs and held the host Varsity Opponent to 20 in the Hawks non-league win on Thursday.

The Hawks now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host James Madison for a non-league battle on Friday, April 18. University will confront a Warhawks team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Horseheads (Horseheads, NY). The Warhawks record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Varsity Opponent moves to 27-67 on the season. The travel to Legacy School of Sport Sciences (Spring, TX) to confront the Titans in a battle on Thursday, April 17. The Titans come into the battle with a record of 12-7. Legacy School of Sport Sciences won 12-2 in their recent league battle against International Leadership of Texas Aggieland (College Station, TX)
