The Weir Red Riders triumphed over the visiting Westhill Warriors softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Riders play the Greeneville Greene Devils (Greeneville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 18. Weir will attempt to upgrade on its 15-4 season record. The Greene Devils enter the challenge with a 11-12 record after their 17-7 league win over Grainger (Rutledge, TN).
The Warriors (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY). The Lakers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Skaneateles was routed by Port Byron (Port Byron, NY), 13-11, in a non-league challenge.
