The Benedictine Cadets triumphed over the host May River Sharks baseball squad by a score of 12-2 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Sharks (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Cougars come into the 4A Region 7 outing with a 5-14 record. In their last outing, Colleton County was overwhelmed by Bishop England (Charleston, SC), 16-1, in a league outing.
