Illinois High School Baseball - Lanphier loses to Riverton

In Friday's non-league bout, the Riverton Hawks (Riverton, IL) baseball squad the visiting Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL), by a tally of 6-1.

Next up, the Hawks encounter the Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 18. Riverton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Maroons enter the bout with a 9-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL).

The Lions (0-9) will now prepare for their bout against Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL). The Cyclones enter the Central State Eight bout with a 12-5 record.
