The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Ranburne Bulldogs (Ranburne, AL) and the host Comer Tigers (Sylacauga, AL), observed Ranburne's softball team prevail over Comer by a tally of 16-0.

The Bulldogs (14-13) will now prepare for their bout against Handley (Roanoke, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 8-13 record. In their last bout, Handley was routed by Munford (Munford, AL), 16-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the West End Patriots (Walnut Grove, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 17. Comer will attempt to advance on its 3-26 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 19-6 record after their 12-1 league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, AL).
