The Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays triumphed over the visiting Richland Rams softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Jays meet the Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Monday, April 20. Conemaugh Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Red Dragons enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 10-1 non-league win over Curwensville (Curwensville, PA).
The Rams (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Red Devils enter the Laurel Highlands 1 challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Central Cambria overcame Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA), 13-7, in a league challenge.
