In Friday's non-league test, the Gosnell Pirates (Gosnell, AR) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Kennett Indians (Kennett, MO), by a tally of 11-1.
Next, the Pirates clash with the Rivercrest Colts (Wilson, AR) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 20. Gosnell will attempt to advance on its 14-5 season record.
The Indians (20-5) will now prepare for their test against East Prairie (East Prairie, MO). The Eagles go into the Class 2 District 1 test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, East Prairie prevailed over Delta (Delta, MO), 17-2, in a non-league test.
