Texas High School Softball - Santo sneaks past Itasca

The Santo Wildcats softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Itasca Wampus Cats to 11 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moody for a non-league battle on Friday, April 24. Santo will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 4-3 league win over Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 11-12.
With the loss, Itasca moves to 6-14 on the season. The Wampus cats travel to Riesel (Riesel, TX) to confront the Indians in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 25. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 8-4. Riesel won 6-2 in their recent non-league battle against Whitney (Whitney, TX)
