The Virginia City Muckers crushed the visiting Non Varsity Opponent baseball team by a tally of 12-6 in Monday's league bout.
The Muckers now hold a 16-1 record. They take the field next when they host Smith Valley for a 1A Northern bout on Saturday, April 23. Virginia City will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-0 league win over Excel Christian (Sparks, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-1.
Next, the face the Elida Tigers (Elida, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 18. Non Varsity Opponent will attempt to advance on its 59-67 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 12-0 league loss to Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM).
