The Argenta-Oreana Bombers softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Cumberland Pirates to 14 in the Bombers league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Argenta-Oreana improves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Bombers host St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL) to clash with the Sabers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 19. The Sabers come into the game with a record of 0-6. St. Thomas More lost 16-2 in their recent league game against St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL)

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 19. Cumberland will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Braves come into the game with a 8-5 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Rochester (Rochester, IL).
