The Gosnell Pirates softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Blytheville Chickasaws to 2 in the Pirates league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Gosnell moves its record to 15-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Manila (Manila, AR) to play the Lions in a 3A-3 game on Tuesday, April 19. The Lions come into the game with a record of 5-11. Manila lost 17-0 in their recent non-league game against McCrory (McCrory, AR)
In their next game, the Chickasaws play the Trumann Wildcats (Trumann, AR) in a 4A-3 game, on Tuesday, April 19. Blytheville will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record.
