Diamond Wildcats (Diamond, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Strafford Indians (Strafford, MO), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lockwood for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19.
With the loss, Strafford falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Clever (Clever, MO) to battle the Blue Jays in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Blue Jays enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
