In Monday's non-league contest, the Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR) softball team held off the visiting Flippin Bobcats (Flippin, AR), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Marshall moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Hector (Hector, AR) to play the Wildcats in a 2A-4 contest on Tuesday, April 19. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Hector won 11-1 in their recent non-league contest against Western Yell County (Havana, AR)
In their next game, the Bobcats play the Green Forest Tigers (Green Forest, AR) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 21. Flippin will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record.
