In Monday's non-league contest, the Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Georgiana Panthers (Georgiana, AL), by a margin of 22-0.
With the triumph, Straughn moves its record to 1-12 on the year. The Tigers host Pike County (Brundidge, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, April 25. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 10-9.
In their next game, the Panthers play the McKenzie Tigers (McKenzie, AL) in a 1A Area 3 contest, on Tuesday, April 19. Georgiana will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record.
