Holcomb Hornets (Holcomb, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Malden Green Wave (Malden, MO), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Campbell for a District 2 challenge on Thursday, April 21.

With the loss, Malden falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Green wave travel to Senath-Hornersville (Senath, MO) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 18. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
