The Oskaloosa Bears routed the host Horton Chargers softball squad by a final score of 20-0 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Bears (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Troy (Troy, KS). The Trojans go into the non-league battle with a 11-0 record. In their last battle, Troy topped Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS), 14-2, in a league battle.
The Chargers now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Atchison County for a Northeast Kansas battle on Tuesday, April 26. Horton will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Pleasant Ridge (Easton, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 0-12.
