The Wethersfield Eagles routed the visiting Lewis Mills Spartans softball squad by a final score of 18-2 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Lancers go into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Bristol Eastern was routed by Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Tolland for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 20. Lewis Mills will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 17-5 non-league win over Plainville (Plainville, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
