Resurrection Bandits (Chicago, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL), 17-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Bandits now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Providence Catholic for a GCAC- Red challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Resurrection will face a Celtics squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL). The Celtics record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, New Trier falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Trevians travel to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL) to face the Hawks in a Central Suburban - South challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Maine South won 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Niles West (Skokie, IL)
