Waterloo Cougars (Waterloo, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Tharptown for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19.

With the loss, Wilson falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Hamburg (Hamburg, PA) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. Hamburg won 18-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Oley Valley (Oley, PA)
