Connecticut High School Baseball - Coginchaug Regional loses to North Branford

The North Branford Thunderbirds crushed the host Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils baseball team by a count of 13-7 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Thunderbirds now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Old Lyme for a Shoreline - Small bout on Thursday, April 20. North Branford will face a Wildcats team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-1.

Next, the Blue Devils face the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) in a Shoreline - Large bout, on Thursday, April 20. Coginchaug Regional will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 7-0 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Portland (Portland, CT).
