In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Fitchburg Red Raiders baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the South Colonels.
The Red Raiders (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Lunenburg (Lunenburg, MA). The Blue Knights go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Lunenburg was overwhelmed by Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA), 6-0, in a league game.
The Colonels (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Maynard (Maynard, MA). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Maynard ran past Murdock (Winchendon, MA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
