In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Salem Witches baseball team scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Georgetown Royals.
The Witches (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA). The Tanners go into the Northeastern - South game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Peabody Veterans Memorial was overwhelmed by Gloucester (Gloucester, MA), 11-0, in a non-league game.
The Royals (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rockport (Rockport, MA). The Vikings come into the CAL Baker contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Rockport was overwhelmed by Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA), 2-1, in a league contest.
