The Mechanicsville Mustangs baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Hermitage Panthers to 3 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA). The Hawks go into the Capital match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Hanover was overwhelmed by Freeman (Richmond, VA), 5-2, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Patrick Henry was overwhelmed by Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA), 13-4, in a league match.
