Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting University Trojans (Irvine, CA), 20-2 in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now own a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mater Dei for a battle on Thursday, April 20. Santa Margarita will clash with a Monarchs squad coming off a 16-7 league win over Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 10-3.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA) in a battle, on Wednesday, April 19. University will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Vaqueros come into the battle with a 1-6 record after their 13-1 league loss to Northwood (Irvine, CA).
