In Tuesday's league battle, the Ensworth Tigers (Nashville, TN) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Pope John Paul II Knights (Hendersonville, TN), by a count of 19-3.
Coming up next, the Tigers clash with the St. Mary's Episcopal Turkeys (Memphis, TN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 21. Ensworth will attempt to advance on its 14-3 season record. The Turkeys come into the battle with a 10-7 record after their 18-5 non-league win over Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN).
The Knights now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hendersonville Spartans [Hendersonville/Beech/Hyde/Station Camp/Aaron Academy] for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 20. Pope John Paul II will battle a Spartans team coming off a 14-5 league win over Wilson Central (Lebanon, TN). The Spartans record now stands at 7-2.
