Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Northfield Nighthawks (Denver, CO), 21-4 in a league battle.

The Mavericks now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Pueblo West for a non-league battle on Friday, April 21. Mead will clash with a Cyclones squad coming off a 18-1 league win over Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO). The Cyclones record now stands at 3-4.

In their next game, the Nighthawks clash with the Thompson Valley Eagles (Loveland, CO) in a 4A North battle, on Saturday, April 22. Northfield will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 6-3 record after their 18-5 league win over Horizon (Thornton, CO).
