In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Romeoville Spartans soccer squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Joliet Central Steelmen.

The Spartans (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats come into the Suburban Prairie test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Plainfield Central by Yorkville (Yorkville, IL), 2-0, in a league test.

With the loss, Joliet Central drops to 2-6 on the season. The Steelmen travel to Joliet West (Joliet, IL) to encounter the Tigers in a Suburban Prairie test on Thursday, April 20. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 6-7. Joliet West lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Minooka (Minooka, IL)
