The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) and the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), saw Mooresville's lacrosse team overcome South Mecklenburg by a margin of 16-8.

The Blue Devils (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings enter the Greater Metro/Queen City challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, South Iredell was overwhelmed by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 17-1, in a league challenge.

The Sabres (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC). The Lancers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Legion Collegiate Academy was overwhelmed by Providence (Charlotte, NC), 7-2, in a non-league challenge.
